Turn Vegetables into Different Forms

One of the best things that you can do with vegetables so that you can make your kids enjoy eating them is to transform turn them into different forms. You can use steamed veggies such as broccoli and turn it into trees or flowers. Cauliflower and sweet potatoes can also be used and transformed into any kind of animal. If you have the time, you can even make a whole a “farm” out of these vegetables. You can use mushrooms, sliced carrots, diced eggplants, shredded spinach, tomato slices, and any other veggie you can think of together with the usual toppings. Just don’t forget the cheese!

So instead of buying them, why not try making your own? This way, you can make them healthier by adding your own ingredients, such as vegetables. You can use sweet potatoes and carrots on your first smoothie or Popsicle try. All you have to do is to puree them, then add plain cold yogurt and milk. Do not forget to add a bit of sugar to sweeten them. You can serve it as a smoothie or freeze them into Popsicles!

If your kids love your baking, then this is a great opportunity for you to sneak vegetables into your yummy baked goods! This will also help eliminate the battle that you have with your kids when it comes to eating their veggies. Before they get home from school, you should try baking brownies made from pureed spinach, white beans, and some chocolate chips. You should also try making muffins with carrots, sweet potatoes, and a bit of chocolate. To top your baked goods off, you can sprinkle some shredded or grated carrots or pipe little carrots (using orange and green icing) on top of them.
